NEWS: AMMA VIEWERS CATEGORY UPDATE

Today exactly marks a week since the voting of AMMA VIEWERS CHOICE Category began. There has been a lot of Ups and Downs in different categories so far. As the race becomes more hotter, so also are the contestants gearing up more support from their fans.
There are 17 categories so far in these categories with only 3 categories dedicated to Music Artistes. Nonetheless, artistes are saying that they would love to see more nominated categories next season.

In the AMMA Music Evolution Award, there are 7 contestants. This category indeed seems to gather some heavyweights in the Arewa Music scene. The statistics so far has been in the favor of Nasiim Umoru who is leading with 3081 votes (76%). He is followed by Tagwayen Asali who have managed to rake up 554 votes (13.7%). The margin seems too wide as other contestants are trailing behind. Saifullahi Ibrahim (Dr Pure) has 153 votes (3.8%), Ismail Aboki Bmeri 133 votes (3.3%), Aminu Abba Umar (Nomiis Gee) 65 votes (1.6%), Buba Classiq 56 votes (1.4%) and iMorell with 10 votes (0.2%).
This category so far has the highest number of votes in all the categories with 4052 votes so far casted.

Another interesting Category is for the AMMA Artist Of The Year Award. This category seems to be one of the most fiercely contested categories. There are 7 contestants also in this category. With 2897 votes casted so far, the odds are in favor of Rapheal John (Don R) who is leading with 1113 votes (38.4% ). He is followed by AY Fashion (Sarkin Basu) with 732 votes (25.3%). Close on his heels is Classiq with 695 votes (24%). Next is Adam A. Zango with  145 votes (5%), Aminu Abba Umar (Nomiis Gee) 107 votes (3.7%), Ali Isa Jita 87 votes (3%) and iMorell with 18 votes (0.6%). We can't wait to see the change in statistics in this category next week.

The last Music dedicated category is the AMMA New Age Musical Award. With Seven Contestants in this newly introduced category, a total of 1177 votes have so far been casted.
Ricqy Ultra Reborn leads the pack with 902 votes (76.6%). Sani Sulaiman (Sonicman) comes behind with 153 votes (13%). Bangiss has 58 votes (4.9%), Mic Flamer 25 votes (2.1%), Idris Bashir (Mixter Bash) 21 votes (1.8%), Taliba Kabir 15 votes (1.3%) and J-Kleen with 3 votes (0.3%).

This poll result was gathered as 0700hrs 01 December,2015.
