AMMA AWARD UNVEILS PLAQUE AND NOMINATION LIST.

The occasion was chaired by Alhaji Shuaibu
Yawale. The occasion was graced by Actors, Actresses, Artists,
Journalists/Pressmen, Bloggers and as well notable individuals. Among those
present at the unveiling ceremony include Ibrahim Musa Gida (Daily Trust),
Salisu Babangida (Radio Kano), Former Chairman NUJ Alhaji Isma'il Maizare, Akanni Adebayo
(Wazobia FM Representative), Director History and Culture, Kano Alh. Ibrahim
Muazu duly represented by Alhaji Auwalu Musa (Head of Section Performing Act),
Aminu Yusuf (General Manager Meena Events Centre), Mr Kingsley Obienu (General
Manager Film House Kano), Faro Waters
Representative (Muhammad A. Musa), Alhaji Salisu Muhammed (Vice President AREWA
& National President Arewa Film Makers)), Sir Hafizu Bello (Director),
Aisha Kyauta (Producer), among others. Also artistes present include Tagwayen
Asali, Ricqy Ultra, Nasiim, Don R, etc.

The Press Release was read by CEMS NIGERIA C.E.O
Abdulkadir Abdulrahman. He said the company is based in Kano
and Lagos States. It is a company which
specializes in Events and Artists Management. The award is meant to recognize
the outstanding achievement in Hausa genres of entertainment industry (most
notably Kannywood).

AMMA Season 2 was held at Kaduna early this year. A total number of 293
entries were received for AMMA Season 2, with multiple entries of 35% out of
which 207 got nominated with a ratio of 6-7 per categories for 32 categories in
both music and movies. 4 lifetime and special awards were presented.
The C.E.O CEMS NIGERIA LIMITED announced the
introduction of Rabilu Musa Ibro Memorial Award which shall be presented to the
Best Comic Actor. This was introduced to appreciate his selfless contributions
towards the Kannywood movie industry.
The Operation's Manager Kazeem Mohammed read the
VIEWERS CHOICE CATEGORY AWARD which had 18 categories.

There was an official unveiling of the customized
plaque by the Group Manager of CEMS NIGERIA LIMITED, Bashir Yusuf along with
members of the high table which included Alh. Shuaibu Yawale, Abdulkadir
Abdulrahman, Kazeem Mohammed, and other officials.
