Deezell has finally dragged Kannywood actress maryam Booth to court along with five other suspects as regards to the recent video released recently. The artist took the action after consulting his legal team on the issue which has brought his integrity into question. Along with Maryam Booth whom he has dragged to court with is popular influencer Maryam Aliyu Obaje popularly known as Madam Korede. Others involved as well in the legal suit include social media handles of some notable influencers with their names yet unknown. However, investigations are still ongoing to reveal their true identities. Ibrahim Ahmad Rufai popularly known as Deezell has released another statement prior to the allegations of blackmail leveled against him on the recently released nude video clip of Kannywood actress Maryam Booth.  This time around, he has taken a bolder step by taking the case to the court for defamation of character and false accusations leveled against him by Maryam Booth.  Releasing the statement on his Instagram handle, he is suing her for inciting public disturbance, criminal conspiracy, insulting and abusive language and other offences as regards to his fundamental human rights. Deezell has put up a legal team and is currently suing the actress for the said action. He has so far denied it although he admitted that they were once love birds years back but their separation has not gone down well with the actress whom have threatened at one point to ruin his music career, hence this step she took. He also denied the claim that he recorded her while she was dressing

Nigeria's indigenous rapper Olamide Addeji also known by the stage name Olamide has dropped his 9th studio album titled 999.The album was released shortly after announcing on his official Instagram page.  Olamide revealed the reason behind the title stating that he featured only 9 artists in the album.  Artists featured include Snow, Phyno, JackMillz, Rhatti, Sosa E, JayBoi, Cheque, Ratti and Willy. The album  contains 9 songs in its entirety. Olamide announced on the 9th of February about the album release and it was officially released by 9 p.m. same day as well. The Kannywood Guild of Artistes has reacted to the viral nude of indigenous Hausa movie actress, Maryam Booth. The actress will not be facing any ban as far as the guild is concerned considering the fact that her actions were not intentional. Recall that Maryam Booth released an official statement concerning the release of the material by her ex-boyfriend Deezell.  Although Deezell later released an official statement distancing himself from the purported release of the clip , investigations are still ongoing as claimed by Kannywood. Alasan Kwalle who is the Chairman Kannywood Guild of Actors revealed that according to reliable information given to them, it was a blackmail against the young actress and the case has been taken to relevant authorities for further action. "She will not be banned because of this. Maryam cannot be allowed to take the fall as the video was released without her consent" Kwalle revealed.
