RICQY ULTRA DROPS HIS FIRST STUDIO EP PROJECT TITLED F.E.A.R UNDER HIS INDIE LABEL, QRY MUSIQ.

F.E.A.R is an acronym defined by Ricqy Ultra to mean two (2) basic things. The first means Face Everything And Rise and secondly, Forget Everything And Run.

After dropping four (4) exquisite mixtapes with numerous singles in his musical career, Ricqy Ultra felt it was high time to up his game and drop an extended project.

RICQY ULTRA IS ONE OF THE FEW EMCEES IN KANO CITY WHO ARE STICKING THEIR GUNS TO THE REAL HIP-HOP CULTURE. AFTER CHURNING AND DROPPING SINGLES, MIXTAPES AND VIDEOS PORTRAYING THE VIBRANT HIP-HOP CULTURE IN NORTHERN NIGERIA, HE UNLEASHES THIS BRAND NEW JOINT TITLED "TSAYA KAJI" . "Tsaya Kaji" is a Hausa word which means "Just Listen" is a strong hip-hop sound that has a deep energy. The song is a conscious rap song which resonates elements like boldness, courage, envy, hate, pain and authority. The lyrical delivery from verses laid in the song tells a lot of story. Verse 1 of the song tells a story about how the patient ones are being taken for granted and treated like slaves, how you can hardly trust friends and everyone around you is so unpredictable. Verse 2 summarises a tale of a young boy whose parents are poor and visibly sick. He left them for Almajiranci to Kano city to hustle only to meet people with the same fate as he. What next? ...

Ricqy Ultra - Suite 157 ft Young Tza and KefaZz

Suite 157 is just the perfect definition of rap undergoing transformation in this day and age of hip-hop. When Ricqy Ultra teams up with exceptional braniacs to deliver something extraordinary, then it must be worth the hype. Not too often you see a blend of trap and real rap blending in the collaboration world. Topping it up with an R&B touch is something else. Narrating a vivid story about every artist's dream in a song is quite a norm in the industry. Suite 157 is just too unique. Suite 157 features trap-artist Young Tza in the first verse of the song with KefaZz showing how his melodic bars on the hook of the song. Ricqy Ultra finally settles in the final verse of the song with his well crafted lyris in the final phase of the song to cap it all.
